SATs revision sessions
Group classes to revise for the year 6 SATs tests

In May, in England, it is mandatory for year 6 children to take statutory assessment tests, known as SATs. All children take the tests at the same time and under test conditions. As you can imagine, it can be quite stressful for all involved.
To increase your child's confidence, Tutastic are delivering SATs revision sessions for one hour a day during the Easter holidays. If a session falls on a bank holiday, this will be rescheduled to a weekend.
How will the lessons be taught?
Lessons are delivered online, through the Zoom platform. There will be a maximum of six children in the group, and they will be able to talk to each other, work collaboratively and make some new friends!
How long is each lesson?
Each session will be one hour long. In that time, they have will have the chance to review their skills and knowledge, and practice some SATs questions from previous years.
What will be taught?
The sessions will be for two weeks. Week one will focus on maths and week two will be English grammar (SPAG). When you register your child, you will be given a short questionnaire to complete. This will help us to decide which particular topics will be covered during the sessions. For example, if you share that your child struggles with fractions, then that topic will be reviewed.
Once all questionnaires are completed, you will be given more details about the study schedule.
Will my child be safe online?
Yes.
Teachers are fully qualified with DBS certificates. If you would like to see the certificate we would be happy to show you.
We have control over who can enter the class and can remove people if necessary. There will be a password to enter the lesson, so only those who have registered will be admitted into the class.
You are very welcome to sit with your child and supervise if you wish.
How much are the lessons?
Lessons on £12 an hour.
If you pay for a full week ( 5 days) it is only £50.
